Web Monitor
Real-time website uptime, server health, and latency monitoring with live socket alerts.
Web Monitor
Web Monitor is a cross-platform monitoring application engineered for system administrators, web agencies, and DevOps engineers to observe server uptime, endpoint response times, and SSL certificate validity with instant push and background alerts.
Traditional uptime dashboards are sluggish web apps that fail to notify stakeholders when out of office, while existing mobile tools lack granular live charting and socket-driven responsiveness.
Architected a scalable Flutter client using Riverpod state management and socket_io_client. Connected to Node.js backend endpoints with background service workers to ensure alerts fire immediately during downtime.
Key Implemented Features
Hands-on Engineering Scope
Sr. Flutter Developer at Digix99. Architected the entire cross-platform client using reusable modular widgets, migrated legacy state to Riverpod, implemented continuous socket listening routines, and built dynamic performance charts.
Technical Challenges & How We Solved Them
Challenge 1:Handling constant high-frequency socket updates without causing UI frame drops or device heating.
Solution: Implemented stream debouncing and selective widget repainting using Riverpod's select modifier, confining UI rebuilds strictly to the updated latency nodes.
